Actually, the entry itself is a bit out of date, as I moved my Blog (this page) back over to a WordPress system when problems were created with a later article I posted, and traffic went through the roof because of the WAY in which it was posted. You can find some of the information about that in my comments on the "Bluetooth Proximity Detection on OS X" entry.

I still use iWeb and Aperture to handle publishing of personal pages, photos, and other routine things, but for a high-traffic blog it became a bit of a nightmare because of the way in which iWeb (not .Mac per se, but the iWeb application) encoded text as one big graphic image.

So unfortunately, no I haven't gotten WordPress to run on dot Mac, and in fact am using some of my business-grade web hosting services for this blog. dot Mac continues to serve me very well for its other features, however, and for the posting of personal web pages just to share a few stories and/or photos with friends and family, which at the end of the day seems to be all it's really targeted at.

The original iWeb-based blog can still be found over at http://web.mac.com/jhollington
